This letter confirms a Category 1 public meeting which has been scheduled for August 24, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (EDT). The enclosed meeting notice provides additional details. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the status of the Watts Bar Unit 2 Construction Project, including major milestones and potential challenges that may impact the project schedule. The NRC will be available to ensure the publics issues and concerns are understood and considered.
