Dear Sir or Madam:

In the referenced letter, Southern California Edison (SCE) requested an exemption from the reporting requirements of 10 CFR 20 Appendix G Section III.E for the shipment of the four original steam generator lower assemblies from Units 2 and 3.

Following discussions with NRC staff by phone, SCE has decided to withdraw this request.

SCE will file a single reportJor eachshipmentonce SCE has completed its investigation and has obtained the disposal facility's acknowledgement of receipt for the shipment as required by 10 CFR 20 Appendix G Section III.E.

This letter contains no new commitments.
