CLOSURE OF INVESTIGATION (014-2010-063)
Dear Mr. Dietrich:
This refers to an investigation conducted by the NRC Office of Investigations (01) regarding activities at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. 01 initiated the investigation to determine whether a technical specialist employed at Southern California Edison's San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS), San Clemente, California, was subjected to employment discrimination for raising safety related concerns.
Based on the evidence developed during the investigation, testimony, and document reviews, the alleged discrimination was determined not to be substantiated. The NRC plans no further action related to the discrimination aspect of this allegation and considers this investigation closed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
