FW: ME6288 - Kewaunee Acceptance Review RAI Response Schedule Based on the two clarification conference calls (6/9/2011 with Reviewer Purciarello for SBPB issues and 6/15/2011 with Reviewer Lapinsky for IHPB issues) conducted for acceptance of the ME6288 amendment application, a letter has been prepared per LIC-109 to document the Non-acceptance for review with opportunity to supplement status of the ME6288 action.

This email message corresponds to our conversation on 6/15/2011 and my phone message on 6/21/2011 pertaining to a due date for response to the reviewers RAI items. I wanted to confirm the response date of July 5, 2011 for both SBPB and IHPB RAI sets, while preparation of my letter occurs.

The letter includes the RAI information, discussed or derived from both conference calls, that would enable the reviewers to conduct their technical reviews. Based on the date of the IHPB discussion and LIC-109 guidelines that govern this process, the supplementary information has been requested in the letter by July 5, 2011, which is 13 work days after the IHPB call. This consolidation of the RAI requests creates a single RAI cycle with a single RAI response date for the RAI Items from both reviewers to which you are to respond during the acceptance phase of our technical review.

Additional RAI responses may be needed during the review phase of our technical review. When practical and consistent with the reviewers planning, I will attempt to consolidate any separate RAI requests from the two cognizant technical branches.
