MAINTENANCE OF REFERENCE MATERIALS AT THE KENNEWICK BRANCH LIBRARY FOR THE COLUMBIA GENERATING STATION LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION
Dear Mr. Moak:
This letter is a follow-up to my email on August 18, 2011, concerning the maintenance of documents at your library for public review. These documents are related to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) review of the Columbia Generating Station license renewal application. The NRC appreciates your willingness to facilitate public involvement in the license renewal process.
The NRC is now accepting comments from the public on the enclosed draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement and will consider any comments received in the preparation of the final SEIS. The enclosed Federal Register notice includes details on how to submit comments to the NRC. The deadline for comments is November 16, 2011.
