Rusty, By letter dated March 30, 2011, APS submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) the 2011 Decommissioning Funding Status (DFS) report for Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3 (PVNGS 1, 2, and 3), as required under Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 50.75(f)(1) (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML110950393).

The NRC staff has reviewed the information provided by APS and determined that the additional information requested in the attachment to this e-mail message is needed to complete its review of the DFS Report. In order to complete our review of the report in a timely manner, please submit your response to the attached RAI by July 2, 2011. Please contact me if APS would like to have a conference call to discuss this second request for additional information.
