McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 72-38, 50-369, 50-370 Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI)

Duke Energy has previously loaded spent nuclear fuel into a Transnuclear TN-32 dry cask storage system at the McGuire Nuclear Station ISFSI under the provisions of Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 1021, Amendment No. 0. Nine other TN-32 casks have been loaded under the provisions of CoC No. 1021 Amendment No. 1. The single cask loaded under CoC No. 1021 Amendment No. 0 is currently being controlled under the provisions of CoC No. 1021 Amendment No. 1.

In addition, Duke Energy has previously loaded spent nuclear fuel into five NAC International UMS dry cask storage systems at the McGuire Nuclear Station ISFSI under the provisions of Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 1015, Amendment No. 3.

Twenty-three other UMS casks have been loaded under CoC No. 1015 Amendment No. 4. The five casks loaded under CoC No. 1015 Amendment No. 3 are currently being controlled under the provisions of CoC No. 1015 Amendment No. 4.
