REGULATORY CONFERENCE WITH OMAHA PUBLIC POWER DISTRICT FACIILTY: Fort Calhoun Station DOCKET: 50-285 EA: 2011-025 DATE & TIME: Thursday, June 2, 2011 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (CDT)
LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Region IV Office Training Conference Room 612 East Lamar Boulevard, Suite 400 Arlington, TX 76011 PURPOSE: The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the significance, cause, and corrective action associated with an apparent violation with substantial safety significance (Yellow). The issue involved the failure of a reactor trip contactor in the reactor protection system. The apparent violation is discussed in NRC Inspection Report 05000285/2011007 (ADAMS ML111260664).
