Subject:

Cancellation of Licensee Event Report 2011-001 for the Fort Calhoun Station This letter constitutes notification to the NRC of the cancellation of Fort Calhoun Station's Licensee Event Report (LER) 2011-001, "Inadequate Flooding Protection Due To Ineffective Oversight," as reported in Reference 2. LER number 2011-001 will not be reused.

During a review of the Fort Calhoun Station flooding issues and NUREG 1022, Revision 2, "Event Reporting Guidelines 10 CFR 50.72 and 50.73," the Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) determined that the issues on flooding should be reported in a single LEA. OPPD will be revising LER 2011-003, "Inadequate Flooding Protection Due To Ineffective Oversight,"

Reference 3, to capture the extent of condition information reported in event notifications (EN) 46590,46594,46690,46716 and 46741, as well as any other penetrations identified.
