UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AT IRVINE - APPROVAL OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AT IRVINE NUCLEAR REACTOR FACILITY OPERATOR REQUALIFICATION PROGRAM (TAC NO. ME2431)
Dear Dr. Miller:
We have reviewed the University of California at Irvine Nuclear Reactor Facility Operator Requalification Program submitted by letter dated April 24, 2000 and the revised Operator Requalification Program submitted by letter dated October 29, 2010 in response to our request for additional information dated October 1, 2010. Our review concludes that the revised operator requalification program meets the applicable requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 50.54 (i-1) and 10 CFR Part 55 and is acceptable.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 Public inspections, exemptions, and requests for withholding, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room. If you have any questions regarding this request, please contact me at 301-415-4103.
