ACCEPTANCE FOR REVIEW OF TRAVELER TSTF-426, REVISION 3, REVISE OR ADD ACTIONS TO PRECLUDE ENTRY INTO LCO 3.0.3 - RITSTF INITIATIVES 6B & 6C (TAC NO. ME5878)

Dear Members of the TSTF:

By letter dated March 21, 2011 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML110800402), you submitted Traveler TSTF-426, Revision 3, Revise or Add Actions to Preclude Entry into LCO [limiting condition for operation] 3.0.3 -

RITSTF [risk informed TSTF] Initiatives 6b & 6c, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff for review and approval.

Your letter noted that the NRC previously granted a fee exemption for the review of this Traveler and requested that the review of this revision be exempt from review fees under Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 170. In accordance with the January 10, 2003, letter (ADAMS Accession No. ML030100090) to A. Pietrangelo, review of Traveler TSTF-426 will be fee exempt.

The NRC staff has completed a preliminary review of your submission and determined it is sufficiently complete and appropriate to initiate a more comprehensive review. The review of Traveler TSTF-426, will generally follow the schedule below.
