NRC FORM 374 U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION Page 1 of 2 MATERIALS LICENSE Pursuant to the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974 (Public Law 93-438), and Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Chapter I, Parts 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 39, 40, and 70, and in reliance on statements and representations heretofore made by the licensee, a license is hereby issued authorizing the licensee to receive, acquire, possess, and transfer byproduct, source, and special nuclear material designated below; to use such material for the purpose(s) and at the place(s) designated below; to deliver or transfer such material to persons authorized to receive it in accordance with the regulations of the applicable Part(s). License Number: SNM-2014 MATERIALS LICENSE SUPPLEMENTARY SHEET Docket or Reference Number: 070-07018 SAFETY CONDITIONS S-1 Authorized use: For use in accordance with the statements, representations, and conditions in the license Application, dated November 12, 2009; and supplements dated July 30, 2010, September 17, 2010 and September 21, 2010, January 25, 2011 and April 29, 2011.
S-2 The licensee shall comply with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.68(b) for the receipt, handling, and storage of SNM for Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Unit 2 as stated in the aforementioned application and supplements.
S-3 The licensee shall maintain and execute the response measures in its Emergency Plan as referenced in the aforementioned application. Revisions to the Emergency Plan related to the licensed activities should be made consistent with the requirements in 10 CFR 70.32(i).
SAFEGUARDS CONDITIONS SG-1 The licensee shall implement its material control and accounting program as referenced in the aforementioned application. Revisions to the material control and accounting program related to the licensed activities should be made consistent with the requirements in 10 CFR 70.32(c)(2)(ii).
SG-2 The licensee shall implement its physical security program as referenced in the aforementioned application.
Revisions to the physical security program related to the licensed activities should be made consistent with the requirements in 10 CFR 70.32(g).
