By letter dated August 16, 2010 (Reference 2), Duke Energy submitted a request to amend Renewed Facility Operating Licenses (FOL) for Oconee Units 1, 2, and 3; McGuire Units 1 and 2; and Catawba Units 1 and 2. The proposed amendment requests the NRC approval for the Duke Energy Cyber Security Plan which complies with the requirement of 10 CFR 73.54.
Subsequently, on February 8, 2011, Duke Energy received a request for additional information (RAI) from the NRC (Reference 1). The enclosure to this letter provides the RAI along with Duke Energy's response. The enclosure responses contain sensitive information and Duke Energy requests that the response be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.390.
Duke Energy has concluded that the information provided in this response does not impact the Significant Hazards Consideration conclusions provided in the August 16, 2010, submittal (Reference 2).
This response to the RAI contains no new regulatory commitments.
