Dear Sir or Madam:
In accordance with Reference 1, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (END) deferred the commitment to supplement to the Palisades Nuclear Plant (PNP) Cyber Security Plan until after the NRC staff has provided direction on further revision. In Reference 2, the NRC issued a request for additional information (RAI) on the PNP Cyber Security Plan with the response due by February 15, 2011. ENO response to the RAI is provided in Attachment 1.
Changes to Section 4.3, "Defense-In-Depth Protective Strategies," of the PNP Cyber Security Plan will be made in accordance with the RAI response as described in. In addition to Reference 1 resolution, other common industry issues are being resolved (Le., cyber security records retention and implementation schedules),
therefore, the PNP Cyber Security Plan containing the changes due to the RAI response will be submitted concurrently with the common industry issue resolutions.
Entergy requests that Attachment 1 which contains security-related information, be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390.
