Reactor and Senior Reactor Operator Initial Examinations

Reference:

NRC letter to TVA, "Annual Assessment Letter - Watts Bar Nuclear Plant Unit 1," dated March 3, 2010 As documented in the referenced letter, operating and written examinations for a group of operator license applicants are scheduled to be performed during the weeks of June 6, 2011 and June 13, 2011. The examination outlines for these exams were delivered to the NRC lead examiner, Rick Baldwin, NRC Region II, on January 27, 2011.

y This letter contains np new commitments and in accordance with 10 CFR 55.49, "Integrity of examinations and tests," and NUREG 1021, "Operator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors," appropriate measures have been taken to ensure examination integrity and security. Accordingly, it is requested that the exam outlines provided to Mr. Baldwin be withheld from public disclosure until the examinations are completed later this year.
