SUMMARY
OF THE DECEMBER 14, 2010 PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS HUMAN PERFORMANCE SUBSTANTIVE CROSS-CUTTING ISSUES AT PRAIRIE ISLAND On December 14, 2010, staff from Region III and Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant (PINGP) met to discuss PINGP actions to address human performance issues at the facility. This meeting was open to the public. The meeting was a follow-up to the NRCs 2010 Reactor Oversight Process mid-cycle assessment of the Prairie Island facility. In that assessment, the NRC requested a meeting to discuss the actions to address human performance issues. The NRC provided an overview on human performance issues at the site, and then PINGP provided an in-depth assessment of their human performance initiatives and steps to ensure sustainability.
