NRC STAFF'S FIFTH STATUS REPORT ON THE ESTIMATED ISSUANCE DATE FOR THE FINAL SUPPLEMENI-AL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT In its "Scheduling Order" of July 1, 2010 ("Order"), the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board ("Board") directed the NRC Staff ("Staff') to file a report on August 3, 2010, and the first Tuesday of each successive month, updating the estimated issuance date for the Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement ("FSEIS") in this proceeding (Order at 5). The Staff has also stated that it would provide a further status report to the Board in a timely manner, should the estimated date of the FSEIS issuance change.
In accordance with the Board's order and a change to the expected issuance date, the Staff wishes to inform the Board and parties that FSEIS is now expected to be issued on or before December 10, 201 0.
