DAVIS-BESSE NUCLEAR POWER STATION NOTIFICATION OF AN NRC SUPPLEMENTAL INSPECTION - FOLLOW-UP
Dear Mr. Allen:
During the time period of December 1 through December 3, 2010, per discussion with Mr. James Vetter, Emergency Response Manager, the NRC will conduct the onsite follow-up portion of the 95001 Supplemental Inspection at your Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station.
In your letter dated November 10, 2010, you informed us that actions to address the identified concerns from the previous 95001 inspection had been completed, and that the site was ready for the follow-up inspection. We have confirmed with members of your Emergency Preparedness staff, that accommodations were met to support the inspection on this date.
We will contact your Emergency Preparedness staff for any documents needed prior to the inspection.
The inspection will be performed in accordance with NRC supplemental Inspection Procedure 95001, and will focus on the actions you have taken to address concerns from the previous 95001 inspection, which was performed onsite during the week of August 16, 2010.
The lead inspector for this inspection is Ms. Patricia Voss. If there are questions about the inspection, please call Ms. Patricia Voss at (630) 829-9812.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records System (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide
