Dear Mr. Heacock:

By letter dated August 9, 2010, you applied for an amendment to the Kewaunee Power Station Operating License No. DPR-43. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications and current licensing basis to incorporate changes to the current radiological analyses and adopt the final approved version of Technical Specifications Task Force Traveler 448 (TSTF-448), "Control Room Habitability." Subsequently, by letter dated September 14,2010, you withdrew the amendment request.

The purpose of this letter is to advise that the above cited application is being treated as withdrawn. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Register.
