The NRC Regional Inspectors have requested this phone call to discuss DCPP's buried piping.

The NRC will have discussions related to:

1) What sort of overlap exists with the piping included in the NEI 07-07 ground water initiative and the underground piping initiative
2) Progress & scope of the risk ranking of the piping included in the NEI initiative on underground piping
3) Actual scope of plans for evaluating buried piping and how that relates to the criteria in the draft GALL Report (i.e., will your plans to meet NEI piping study encompass as a minimum the draft GALL systems and reviews and portions or all of the systems carrying groundwater) 1
4) From your groundwater piping initiative (GPI), we have your risk ranking of likelihood and consequence to establish a priority. We would like some discussion on this and if related to buried piping what specifically it covers.

Thank you, Kevin Braico License Renewal Engineer (805) 781-9414 2
