Description:

ERC HAS PLACED AN UNMARKED RESPONSE VEHICLE (RANGER CART) INSIDE THE PROTECTED AREA, AT THE NSOC. TO SPEED UP RESPONSE TIME FOR CERTAIN CALLS.THIS CART WAS FOUND PARTIALLY BLOCKED BY OTHER CARTS WHEN THE ERC WERE RESPONDING TO ACALL. ONCE UP THE HILL THEY ENCOUNTERED A DELAY WHEN TWO FORKLIFTS WERE TRAVELLING THE SAME ROUTE THE ERC NEEDED TO TAKE CAUSING A DELAY INRESPONSE. THESE PROBLEMS CAN BE ADDRESSED BY HAVING SECURITY CLEAR THE PATH TO THE SCENE AND HAVE A DESIGNATED PARKING AREA THAT CANNOT BE BLOCKED.

Description:

DURING HYDRODEMOLITION OF THE CONCRETE CONTAINMENT WALL, WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TEMPORARY ACCESS OPENING, CRACKS WERE EXPOSED BETWEEN ADJACENT HOOP TENDONS. THE CRACKSARE GENERALLY IN AVERTICAL PLANE BETWEEN THE TENDON SLEEVES AND EXTEND FOR AN INDETERMINATE LENGTH. IT IS POSSIBLE THE CRACKS WERE THE RESULT OF HYDRODEMOLITION OR JUST EXPOSED BY THE HYDRODEMOLITION. THE EXTENT OF THE CRACKS CANNOT BE ESTABLISHED AS THE CRACK IS EXPOSED .BYTHE REMOVAL OF THE CONCRETE WHICH IN TURN PREVENTS AN ASSESSMENT OF THE LENGTH OF THE CRACK. THERE IS HOWEVER, WATER LEAKAGE THROUGH CRACKS IN THE RB WALL THAT WOULD INDICATE THE CRACKING EXTENDS BEYOND THE AREA OF THE OPENING.

SUBSEQUENTLY THE LEVEL IN SWT-1 HAS STEADILY LOWERED, REQUIRING THE TANK TO.BE FILLED FREQUENTLY. LEAK RATE IS ESTIMATED TO BE APPROXIMATELY 1.5 GPM. THE MOST LIKELY SOURCE OF LEAKAGE IS PAST EITHER SWV-353 OR SWV-354 TO THE Ci SYSTEM. WR 401193 GENERATED.
