RE: Wednesday NCRs 373986 - FOSAR means foreign object search and retrieval -AREVA was performing an inspection of the interior of the RCS piping to locate another item when a portion of the equipment broke loose. It fell down the hot leg riser and is presumed to be resting on the horizontal run of RCS piping that is attached to the Rx vessel. The locations of the missing items is currently unknown. I will get more information about the size of the items and let you know more.
373762 - Attached are pictures of the area and the debris. It is too early to know why it occurred, but it may be related to the cold temperatures. There appears to be some moisture in the lower left corner.
