TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE REQUEST - REVIEW OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE BRUNSWICK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION PLANT PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN (TAC NO. L24477)
The Division of Spent Fuel Storage and Transportation (SFST), Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards (NMSS), requests technical assistance from the Division of Security Policy (DSP), Nuclear Security and Incident Response (NSIR), for the completion of the following project:
PROJECT: Review Carolina Power and Light Companys (CP&L) response to Order (EA-08-202) and the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) Physical Security Plan and verify implementation of the additional security measures.
DOCKET NOS: 50-324 and 50-325, 72-06 TAC NO: L24477 REQUESTED ACTION: NMSS/SFST requests that NSIR/DSP review CP&Ls response to the Security Order and the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant ISFSI Physical Security Plan. Prepare a memorandum documenting the results of NSIRs review.
