Class 1 Permit Modifications Request - #2010-03 Hazardous Waste Facility Permit #: 04-BRK-09 Southern California Edison San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS)
EPA 10 # CAD000630921 Southern California Edison - San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station provides notice to the public that on August 11, 2010, SONGS notified the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) of the Class 1 modification to incorporate the same procedure revisions listed below into the Hazardous Waste Facility Permit
(#04-BRK-09) and Operations Plan.

Procedure S0123-IX-2.208 entitled "Hazardous Waste and Emergency Response Training Program", Revision 9 (b)
Procedure S0123-IX-2.206 entitled "Hazardous Waste/Mixed Waste Inspections", Revision 11 The Class 1 Modifications are based on Title 22, California Code of Regulations, Chapter 20, Section 66270.42 and Appendix I, items A.1 and B.6.d.
The Class 1 Modifications involve changes which are administrative and informational.
The Class 1 Modifications do not increase the storage capacity or type of waste authorized at the existing hazardous waste management facility and do not require DTSC prior approval.
