Review of IWE/1WL Program for Containment Inspection This correspondence documents the continued review of the IWEJIWL program for Containment Inspection in accordance with the ASMIE Section XI Inservice Inspection Program. This review included the development of plans, procedures, examiner certifications and inspection acceptance for the examination of concrete and containment surfaces up to and including program implementation in Refuel 13.

Specifically, the examination during Refuel 13 will be in accordance with Procedure NDEP-0620, VT-I and VT-3 Visual Examination of ASME Section XI, Subsection IWE Components of Nuclear Power Plants, revision 2, Special Process Specification (SPS) VT-N17, Revision 2, Visual Examination of ASNE Section XI, Subsection IWE Components and SPS VA-N18, Revision 1, Visual Examination Acceptance Criteria of ASME Section XI, Subsection MWE Components, as applicable.

Interoffice correspondence DE03-0170 documents the individuals qualified to perform the inspections during Refuel 13. As the Responsible Engineer, I am directing you to add this correspondence to the program notebook/record to ensure that a retrievable hard copy record, is available as required.
