REFERENCE:

Letter from the TSTF to the NRC, "Transmittal of Revised Risk-Informed End State Travelers," dated December 22, 2009.

Dear Sir or Madam:

In the referenced letter, the TSTF transmitted TSTF Travelers that implement Risk-Informed Technical Specification Task Force (RITSTF) Initiative 1, "Technical Specification Actions End States Modifications," to address a potential safety issue identified during plant-specific reviews.

The TSTF provided revised implementation guidance for the Travelers in the referenced letter.

The implementation guidance is referenced in the model Safety Evaluations in the Notices of Availability published in the Federal Register for the Travelers. In the referenced letter, we stated that the revised .TSTF-422 implementation guidance would be transmitted separately. The revised TSTF-422 implementation guidance (WCAP-16364) is enclosed.
