MA state-listed rare species in Seabrook Station transmission line ROWs Attachments: Pages from Seabrook LRA Enviro Report.pdf

Emily, Thank you for speaking with me yesterday. This email is for our records. No particular response is needed unless I have misstated something below.

Attached is the letter from the MA Division of Fisheries and Wildlife to Seabrook Station dated 6/11/2009 (NHESP Tracking No. 09-26515) regarding the state-listed rare species in the vicinity of the transmission line right-of-ways for Seabrook Station. As we discussed on the phone, this list remains up-to-date. To avoid any duplication of effort on your part , we intend to use this list as we draft our environmental impact statement (EIS) for the license renewal of Seabrook Station's operating license.

To support the EIS development process, our staff plans to hold two public environmental scoping meetings on August 19, 2010, at the Galley Hatch Conference Center, 815 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH 03842. The first meeting will convene at 1 :30 p.m. and will continue until 3:30 p.m., as necessary. The second meeting will convene at 7:00 p.m., with a repeat of the overview portions of the first meeting, and will continue until 9:00 p.m., as necessary. In addition, during the week of October 4, 2010, the staff plans to conduct a site audit at Seabrook Station. You and your staff are invited to attend both the site audit and the public meetings. Your office will receive a copy of the draft EIS along with a request for comments. The anticipated publication date for the draft EIS is May 2011.

I will contact you again as the on-site audit date approaches to see if you or your staff plan to attend.

Thank you again for your assistance, Jeremy Susco Project Manager U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (301) 415-2927 eremy.suscoonrc.gov EI x AA f WeýT3 I
