FW: Prestressed Concrete Containment Buildings DE folks, Marion called this morning. They are motivating the industry to focus both on the delamination issue at Crystal River as well as separately and more broadly on containment issues recognizing that there has been several containment related issues over the past months. He has calls first with the CNOs from the prestressed family and then all the CNOs on the broader subject.
He indicated that he was putting together a list similar to the one we were putting together so I asked him to share and make sure we both had the right info. His initial count was too high and I suggested he go back and scrub... so we are now in alignment at 36 units, I think. Please coordinate with him to make sure that we both have the right data.

Prestressed Concrete Containment Buildings
- Jack, As a follow up to our earlier call my list of PWRs with this containment design included Trojan and the two Zion units which have been shut down. So my list includes 36 PWRs.
La Salle County Units 1 & 2 are the only BWRs with prestressed concrete designs.
I am still working on identifying those that had to cut openings in the containment building to facilitate SG or RPV head replacements. Will keep you apprised.
