CONFIRMATION OF INITIAL OPERATOR LICENSE EXAMINATIONS:
PERRY NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
Dear Mr. Bezilla:
In response to your letters dated July 8, 2010 (L-10-210), and July 22, 2010 (L-10-218) you requested dates for initial operator licensing examinations in 2013 and 2015. You also requested we cancel the initial operator license exam scheduled for January 9, 2012.
In response, we have scheduled an examination for the weeks of February 11 and 18, 2013, with an onsite validation date of January 7, 2013. Additionally, we have scheduled an examination for the weeks of February 9 and 16, 2015, with an onsite validation date of January 12, 2015. We have also canceled the initial operator license examination scheduled for January 9, 2012.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to support the examination during the scheduled weeks, we will inform you immediately upon discovery of such conditions and make arrangements to administer the examination at a mutually acceptable date.
We understand that your staff will develop the examinations. Please inform us at your earliest opportunity if you discover you need to change the scheduled examination date.
A supplementary letter will be sent to the training department approximately 120 days prior to the examination informing the training manager of the chief examiners name. The letter will also outline examination security expectations, list the materials required by the NRC to review and conduct the examination, reconfirm the examination date, and reconfirm the number of candidates you have in the training program.

Bezilla In accordance with 10 CFR 2.930 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publically Available Records System (PARS) component of NRCs Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS), accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
