By letter dated July 16, 2010 (Accession No. ML102000433), NSPM proposed to withdraw from a previous commitment to transition to the guidance of NFPA 805 (regarding fire protection).
The NRC staff has found the subject submittal acceptable for review per NRR Office Instruction LIC-109. I understand that NSPM plans to supplement the July 16, 2010, letter as a result of a verbal request from me; we will treat that supplement as a response to an RAI and look forward to receiving it in the near future.
