Perform Review 12/2/2010-Update from this morning's 7:30am status meeting.
Installation of all strain gages identified to be installed in preparation for de-tensioning has been completed.
There is a major analysis underway to determine the stress associated with creep in the containment over the 32 years of unit operation. The result of this analysis will be used in determining the tendon de-tensioning plan to be performed prior to the delamination removal. They were initially analyzing a plan that included de-tensioning all tendons, however, there are 84 tendons that are inaccessible (not enough space to remove the top hats and/or use the de-tensioning tool due to equipment interference). A new analysis is being performed with results expected in a few weeks. Prior to the final results and based on information that can support it, they may try de-tensioning a few tendons and evaluate the strain gage measurements.
Additional Info The fuel will not be reloaded at this time. The plant will have all preparation required for fuel load ready to go so that fuel load can begin once the OK is given.
A crack has been identified to the left and bellow the equipment hatch (Core Bore # ). CTL first identified it as an anomaly with IR scans and it was identified as a crack upon examining the core bore. Preliminary info identified in a CR states that is from.009 to.016 inches wide and further evaluation will be performed. Currently they are treating this crack as a separate issue from the de-lamination.
