_C~ore Drill Plan (Draft).pdf Mark/Lou, I spoke to Garry Miller this afternoon. He showed/gave me a copy of the current core drilling plan which the licensee plans to use to verify the intergity of the containment building. They are laying out the grid patterns and drilling. I plan to sit in on the morning meeting (at 7:30) where the status and day's activities will be discussed. I will then observe work in the field.
Garry also said that he expects results back Tuesday or Wednesday on the samples sent off for petrographic analysis last week. This should give him an idea of the age of the delamination.
I reviewed the NDE procedure (which I sent to you earlier). I have a couple of very minor questions for Garry tomorrow.
The plan and procedure correspond to each other very nicely. (I have attached the plan for your review. Remember that it is For Information Only.)
I'll be in touch after the morning meeting so that you will have the latest for the 9:15 meeting.
