Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC Oconee Nuclear Station Docket Nos.. 72-4, 50-269, 50-270, 50-287 Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) 2009 Revision Pursuant to 10 CFR 72.70 (b), enclosed is a CD-ROM containing one copy of the Oconee 2009 Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) UFSAR. The CD-ROM is provided based on the guidance in NRC Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2001-05, Guidance on Submitting Documents to the NRC by Electronic Information Exchange or on CD-ROM. RIS 2001-05 waives the requirement that licensees receive case-by-case approval required by 10 CFR 50.4(c) for submittal by electronic information exchange (EIE) or by CD-ROM. The RIS also waives requirements that multiple copies of paper or electronic documents be submitted to the NRC.
The effective date for this update is December 31, 2009, as indicated at the bottom of each page. The changes are indicated by side bars. The enclosed CD-ROM includes all text, tables and figures in PDF format.
