SUB..IECT: FORTHCOMING MEETING WITH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY DATE & TIME: Wednesday, July 21, 2010 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)

One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room 0-8B2 Rockville, Maryland 20852 PURPOSE: Southern California Edison (SCE) is meeting with NRC staff to discuss its planned submittal of a license amendment request and an exemption request for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 2 and 3, to allow for the future use of AREVA fuel assemblies in both units.

CATEGORY 1:. The public is invited to participate in this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.

Interested members of the public that plan to attend this meeting should inform one of the NRC meeting contacts by July 19, 2010.

In addition, interested members of the public can participate in this meeting via a toll-free audio teleconference; please call one of the meeting contacts listed below before July 19, 2010, 3:00 p.m.
