ISFSI Docket Number 72-45 Registration of Spent Fuel Storage Casks Catawba Nuclear Station is currently loading spent nuclear fuel into NAC-UMS dry cask storage systems as controlled by Certificate of Compliance No. 1015, Amendment No. 4. In accordance with 10 CFR 72.212(b)(1)(ii), Duke hereby registers the use of cask serial numbers CNOFCTKNO36 and CNOFCTKNO44.

Loading of cask CNOFCTKNO36 was completed and the cask was placed on the ISFSI pad on May 17, 2010. Loading of cask CNOFCTKNO44 was completed and the cask was placed on the ISFSI pad on May 28, 2010.

There are no NRC commitments contained in this letter.
