Dear Sir or Madam:
By letter dated June 18, 2009 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML091760204), Entergy Operations Inc. (Entergy) applied for an amendment to the Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 2, Renewed Facility Operating License No.
NPF-6. The proposed change would relocate portions of Technical Specification (TS) 3.4.4, "Pressurizer," to the Technical Requirements Manual (TRM). Specifically, TS 3.4.4 specifies requirements for both water volume and the electric heater operability of the pressurizer. The proposed change would have relocated the heater requirements to the TRM. Subsequently, by letter May 28,2010 (ADAMS Accession No. ML101480896), Entergy withdrew its amendment request.
The purpose of this letter is to advise that the Entergy submittal dated June 18, 2009, is being treated as withdrawn, based on your letter dated May 28, 2010. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Register.
