END OF CYCLE MEETING SUMMARY - WATTS BAR NUCLEAR PLANT

UNIT 2 (NRC INSPECTION REPORT 05000391/2010601)

Dear Mr. Bhatnagar:

This refers to the meeting conducted at our request at the Magnuson Hotel in Sweetwater, TN

on April 20, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. The NRCs Acting Chief of Construction Projects Branch 3, and

the Resident Inspectors, held a Category 3 meeting for members of the public and local officials.

This Category 3 public meeting provided an informative presentation to engage the public in a

discussion of the NRCs annual assessment of the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant Unit 2 construction

project for the period from January 1 through December 31, 2009. The members of the public

expressed no concerns about the construction activities at the Watts Bar facility. The

presentation material used for discussions (Attachment 1) and the list of attendees (Attachment

2) are attached to this letter.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be

available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from

the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
