Site  : THREE MILE ISLAND Emergency Class As a follow-up to my questions concerning the initial TMI event notification report, a Mr.

Brad Parfitt called back and provided me the following information:

1) - 132 (of approximately 150 total) workers set off the HP portal monitors while exiting containment. Of the individuals that set off the portal monitors, all but 39 have been whole body counted at this time (0245 on 11/22). The highest levels found on any worker sc far is 26 mR. The isotopes involved are Co-58; Co-60; Zr-95; Nb-95, and Cr-51.
2) - The radiation detected outside the reactor building was picked up on portable air samplers that had been in place at all the containment openings. No contamination was foi anywhere else outside of containment
3) - All of containment has been released by HP except the B Steam Generator D-ring area.
