Telecon w/Progress Energy to Discuss Status of Activities at CR3S-November 5, 2009, 2pm
- All, A teleconwith Progress Energy has been scheduled to discuss the licensee's ongoing reviews and planned actions to address the recently.identified concrete delamination at Crystal River Unit 3. The licensee intends to share the current results of their condition assessment, progress of their root cause investigation, and design basis review. The licensee will have several technical. experts available, so d*on'thesitate to ask questions, if necessary.
Brian McCabe, RegulatoryAffairs Manager, Bob Duncan, VP Nuclear Operations, and Garry.Miller, Containment Project Manager will lead the discussions for the licensee. I plan to openwthe discussion by repeating the purpose forthe telecon and I will allow each office to introduce participants. After the introductions, I will turn to Brian McCabe or Garry Miller to begin the PE discussions.
