FW: new Concrete Pour Schedule for Crystal River Mark:
Based on the email provided below by Sid Powell of Crystal River SGRP Engineering Contact, the new concrete pour for the opening of the containment wall will be delayed potentially to the next year and combined with the repair of the delaminated containment wall after the completion of root cause analysis.
I offer following suggestions for the completion of SGRP inspection report input to the DRP:
- 1. I will go to Crystal River one more trip next month to review and close the completed documents, instead of two trips in the original schedule for the concrete pour observation and final document review.
- 2. For this quarterly report, I will complete the input for (A) Design and Engineering Inspection; (B) Steam Generator Removal and Replacement except portion on RB access, restoration of temporary RB opening and leak testing; (C) Post-installation Verification and Testing which the items are completed if applicable now. The Inspection Procedure 50001 will be marked as "Incomplete".
- 3. Next quarterly report will have details on the new and repaired concrete installation for the containment wall if applicable then.
- 4. The Inspection Procedure 50001 will be closed out when all delaminated concrete and required tests (by Resident Inspectors) completed.
Please provide any suggestions for me to complete the inspection report if you have. I will constantly contact Roger for the report input.

RE: NCR from Sunday The schedule to re-pour the concrete in the opening December 5 is no longer valid. The delaminated concrete will be removed and the replacement concrete and the concrete for the opening will be poured at the same time. A schedule is being developed. I will keep you updated when the new schedule becomes available.

RE: NCR from Sunday Sid:

bi Based on the new concrete pour schedule sent by Kara Stacey on Sunday, the concrete pour will be started at 9 AM on Dec. 5, 2009. I just talked to Lou Lake, the Team Leader for SIT a few minutes ago. He said that the root cause analysis will not be completed prior to the end of next month December. He said that Gary Miller told him that the new concrete pour for the containment opening will not be poured prior to the completion of the root cause analysis which the new concrete pour will be started after the new year. Can you verify that and get some schedule estimate for the new concrete pour?
