CR3 SIT Status Mark Lou, George, and I attended the 7:30 status meeting conducted by Garry Miller. Yesterday, NDE between Buttresses #6 and #1 was completed in Panels A, D, G, J, M, P, S, V, and Y. NDE will continue between Buttresses #6 and #1 today. Yesterday, six core bores, two in Panel E, one in Panel K, one in Panel U, one in Panel AA, and one in the "doghouse" area were taken to support the Root Cause Analysis specialists. Eight boroscope inspections of core-drilled holes were completed yesterday. In addition, the boroscope inspection of the top corners and center section of the construction opening was completed. Today, the final core borings are scheduled to be completed (one in Panel R and one in Panel F, in the bay between Buttresses #3 and #4).
The boroscope inspection of all of the bore holes between Buttresses #3 and #4 is scheduled to be completed late today. This will finish the identification of the limits of the delaminated area. All NDE on panels above the respective roof lines in the bays between Buttresses #5 and #6, Buttresses #6 and #1, and Buttresses #1 and
- 2 are projected to be completed by Tuesday.
Survey crews to survey the Containment Building dimensions (dome and outside diameter) are onsite and are scheduled to begin work today. AREVA is expected to deliver survey data on the inner diameter of the Containment Building today.
The accelerometers are supplying information with respect to building frequency.
