RE: CR3 SIT Status Thanks Bob, No problem. I'll try to call you 1230 or so to make sure we are good for afternoon..
I'll lead the 3pm debrief.
The 2pm licensee-management brief would be good to sit in on.

CR3 SIT Status Mark/Lou Anthony and I attended the 7:30 status meeting conducted by Paul Fagan. Yesterday the CTL technicians completed NDE (using the impulse-response (IR) method) in the part of Panel S not previously NDEd plus the area below Panels Y, Z, and AA in the bay between Buttresses #3 and #4, the bay with the delamination problem. Also, yesterday five core bores were completed between Buttresses #3 and #4 and are scheduled to be visually examined with a boroscope today. Yesterday CTL technicians completed NDE (using the IR method) in Panels Z, AA, AB, and AC between Buttresses #4 and #5.
Also today, ground penetrating radar (GPR) techniques are scheduled to be employed in Panels Y, Z, and AA and the area immediately below these panels between Buttresses #3 and #4 to find places where confirmatory
- core bores can be taken to precisely identify the limits of the delamination. In addition, CTL is scheduled to begin IR testing on the containment building wall inside the Auxiliary and Intermediate Buildings, i.e., inside the RCA. (All previous work has been done on the exposed-to-the-environment exterior wall of the Containment Building.)
Obtaining lift-off data is scheduled to continue today from tendons of the 42H series (five above and five below the construction opening) to support the Root Cause Analysis contractor (PII). Information for three tendons was obtained yesterday. This effort is expected to be completed tomorrow.
Bob Carrion P.S. I'm sorry that I did not get this to you prior to the 9:15 meeting but I experienced some technical difficulties.
