Status Mark/Lou I attended the 7:30 status meeting conducted by Garry Miller. Yesterday, NDE work continued on Panels E, H, K, N, Q, and T between Buttress #4 & 5, and Panels K, N, Q, and T between Buttress # 2 and 3. (See page 3 of the plan which I sent late yesterday for a good idea of where these locations are on the Containment Building.) Note that these areas are in the bays on each side of the bay in which the construction opening and equipment hatch are located.
Today the focus will be on the bay where the delamination was originally discovered. This afternoon LCT will be doing NDE in Panels D, G, J, M, P, and S. (These are the panels to the left of the construction opening.)
Also, Dr. Chew of PII is scheduled to be on site today to continue to gather information as it applies to the Root Cause Analysis.
