Questions on Containment Good Morning, I was informed late yesterday that the resident inspectors are likely to be asked questions by NRR about the containments at their sites. This is related to the recently discovered degradation of the Crystal River 3 containment concrete. The questions are being asked to obtain information regarding containment cuts (e.g.

for S/G replacements...) in order to answer a short turn-around request (green ticket) by the NRC Chairman. If the information is not readily available to you to answer the questions, please forward the questions to the region and we'll pursue it from here. Apparently, NRR does not want us to ask the questions directly of each individual licensee. Thanks in advance for your support in responding to the questions. Len 186
