FORTHCOMING CONFERENCE CALL WITH NEXTERA ENERGY SEABROOK, LLC, TO DISCUSS SEABROOK, UNIT 1, GENERIC LETTER 2004-02 SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSES DATE & TIME: Monday, May 10, 2010 2:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North, 0-11-H9 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: The purpose of the conference call between NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC (the licensee), and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC),

Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR) staff is to discuss the licensee's plans for addressing issues identified during NRC staff review and request for additional information regarding Generic Letter 2004-02, "Potential Impact of Debris Blockage on Emergency Recirculation During Design Basis Accidents at Pressurized-Water Reactors," dated August 14, 2009, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML091210519) for Seabrook Station, Unit No.1.

The licensee will identify its path forward for resolving the remaining issues and discuss any points of concern with the NRC staff.

CATEGORY 1:* This is a Category 1 meeting via conference call. Interested members of the public can participate in this meeting via a toll-free audio teleconference and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
