The staff of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has reviewed the petition dated September 4, 2009, addressed to Mr. Bill Borchardt, Executive Director for Operations, pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.206, "Requests for Action under this Subpart," and has enclosed the proposed director's decision.
If you believe that portions of the decision are incorrect or fail to fully address issues raised in the petition, please provide comments to me. The NRC staff is making a similar request of the licensee. The staff will then review any comments provided by you and the licensee and consider them in the final version of the director's decision, with no further opportunity to comment.
