RE: items Staff is still exploring Crystal River containment problem but "delamination" concern is that the containment concrete appears to have cracked the whole way around and may "peel off" in layers internally. This is apparently both a structural problem and a containment integrity (containing radmat) problem. Mallett did not
,,aive much of an explanation but the staff is workinq hard to assess.

Items develooments on a couple of thinas:
Outside of Scope (3) The Crystal River containment cracking is being characterized as "delamination" -- not good. Staff is checking other B&W reactors (Oconee-no problem; ANO-1-no similar problem; TMI & Davis Besse-checks still to be done) and Mallett wants to put together a special inspection.
