OF TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL HELD ON MARCH 10, 2010, BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION AND ARIZONA PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY, CONCERNING THE PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 1, 2, AND 3, LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the staff) and representatives of Arizona Public Service Company (the applicant) held a telephone conference call on March 10, 2010, to discuss the applicants March 1, 2010, response to a request for additional information (RAI) dated January 28, 2010, concerning the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3, license renewal application. The telephone conference call was useful in clarifying the intent of the staffs RAI. The applicant will submit a supplemental response to RAI 4.7.5-1 within 30 days of the issuance of this letter. provides a listing of the participants.

The applicant had an opportunity to comment on this summary.
