INVESTIGATION INTO PIPING ALLEGATIONS AS RELATED TO INDIAN POINT 2 Three memoranda covering the initial results of special visits to the Indian Point 2 reactor site and the Youngstown Welding and Engineering Company are forwarded for your information. These special visits were made as a continuation of our investigations into the Oyster Creek piping allegations.

You may note that we have uncovered several apparent problem areas at Indian Point 2 which are similar to those observed at Oyster Creek. We anticipate that additional information will be made available by the licensee in the immediate future.
