OC Tritium - Update 4/17 CURRENT STATUS (As of Aoril 17 at 6 am)
Recent sample results of a well (MW-1 5K-1A) approximately 75 ft from the CST toward the vault area had a concentration level of 9,000,000 pCi/L (approx. the same concentration as the CST). Previous sample result -,. 5 (b -thiswell on March 11 indicated <2000pCi/L.
I I The site plans to update the state of New Jersey DEP this morning. The site is developing plans to perform excavation to further identify the exact source and location.
At this point in time we do not know the exact quantity, source of water, or repair plans).
The site issued a press release on this issue yesterday. There has been some press interest. The region has developed a comunication plan.
